What is Mind Freedom®?

At APower 3, we use the concept of Mind Freedom® to describe the practice of Mindfulness and the application of our selected and highly effective alternative intervention disciplines of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) which we use to free people’s minds (and bodies) from anything which is holding them back and does not serve them.

Many people today are effected by the ‘modern way of suffering’ – by living with negative and limiting beliefs about themselves which are holding them back in so many different ways, by living with fear of failure (or fear of success), by experiencing high stress levels and anxiety, by procrastinating and not performing to the level they would want to in their own life. What they are left with is frustration, unhappiness and the numbing feeling of living an unfulfilled life. As a result, it is not unusual for physical pain to follow.

The first crucial step to change is self-awareness, because awareness gives you choice. The second step is taking action. Many people are consciously not aware of the part they play in their own suffering, and many of those who are don’t take action because they have somehow accepted their suffering as part of their life. They have surrendered to their self-defeating behaviours and the negative feelings which follow. ‘I’m too old to change’ or ‘I don’t have the time for this’ are typical excuses.

It is never too late to change – this may sound like a cliché but it’s infinitely true! And with a mindful approach and highly-effective and results-oriented disciplines such as NLP and EFT, this change can come quicker than you might think. Most people experience relief already after the very first session!
